Well.. talk about throwing myself into the deep end! After Diana's recovery from her operation I picked my darts up and only started to practice a week before this tournament. Not the best preperation after 2 Months of not throwing a darts as Diana is more important but if your going to get match practice, this for me personally is the only way as practicing on a board at home solo dosent get you back into form. On a good note, it was great to see another legend of the Oche return and also a good mate in Wayne Weening! Wayne was there for the fun (but was still competitive) like me Wayne drew a tough board.. great to see you back Wayne mate

On Saturday-DPA Unanderra Hotel Darts Open

I had what I thought was a reasonable board.. lost all matches, was not pretty (I did have my chances against Phil & Kim though, Craig as well) but guess it turned out to be good practice for Sunday, so I thought.. here is the Saturday board

On Sunday-DPA Australian Singles Championship

Simon stitched me good (although a bull finish in one darts made me feel better) titchy I nearly had beat,, double trouble, managed to get 2 wins from that board, both rusty and simon said I should have had more as they were supporting alot of my games as they knew I had been out for quite awhile.Poor Dean and I had a shocker of a game, dean was changing darts as fast as I was.. Deano won but we both know it wasnt a pretty game at all!
